Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who provides counseling to adults, adolescents, couples and families. During the last 15 years of my professional work, I have developed effective clinical strategies that help families successfully overcome difficult times. My area of specialty is family therapy. I work with children and adolescents, ages 11-18. With the younger children, I use elements of play therapy and behavior management skills to reduce impulse control issues or anxiety. Older teens learn coping strategies to help improve their emotional regulation and stress management, as well as learn how to confidently navigate social relationships with their peers. I also have a lot of experience working with school districts, which provide specialized education. In New Jersey, school districts are required to evaluate children and determine whether they need special education or related services due to a disability, such as 504 Plan or IEP.  

I am bilingual and offer therapy in Polish and English. I provide therapy both virtually and in person, although I think that the therapeutic relationship develops best during in-person contact. I also provide brief phone consultations before you schedule your first appointment.
